2012 highlights

Well 2012 has been over for almost a week now, yes really a week!
My 2012 started quietly then I met an awesome photographer http://www.lucygphotography.co.uk. Lucy invited my crockery and I along for a photoshoot in the beautiful Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire. After a fun day we decided to work together on a Diamond Jubilee Photoshoot in March. The day was a great success with many publications taking the pictures on. From this I met my soon to be business partner Gemma from http://www.bobsbuttonboutique.com and we ventured into another photoshoot at the Liverpool Town Hall. Which has been published in numerous blogs and print.
The year wasn’t all about photoshoots though. In between all the photoshoot glamour I also met some intelligent and like minded business owners. Some of which have become friends, which I wasn’t expecting on my journey into self employment. It seems that we all pull together and offer support and you’re never alone if you need any help!
I’ve had also met some wonderful new customers and it has been amazing to see how pieces of china can start conversations. So many memories held and sparked at parties and funerals. “My gran had this china and we used to use it at special occasions”, “tea is so much nicer from a china cup” and who doesn’t love sugar cubes and sugar tongs?
So 2012 was about meeting new people and making friends and gaining confidence in self employment. I wonder what 2013 will bring?
